Health care assistants, care home workers, local council staff, carers, housing agency staff.

Course content

This introductory course comprises of a theoretical component, addressing legislation, ethics; caring, prevention of abuse, privacy, anatomy & physiology, observation and reporting. It enables care providers to develop skills in the design delivery and evaluation of standards of care and management of the needy in a positive, humane and dignified manner.

Assessment

There is no formal assessment attached to this course.

Certification

Participants will receive a certificate of participation upon completion of the programme.
