CONFLICT RESPONSE INSTITUTE is a provider in training, health care management and consultancy: established in 2010 to provide consultancy and evidence-based conflict management education and training to the National and independent health industry, protective and security services, educational establishments, international partners and any allied organisations that might have to deal with violent / non-violent conflict situations as part of their daily job undertaking. We operate from Sutton Surrey and have the capability to take our training services to the door step of the purchaser.
We aim to assist our clients in maximising opportunities open to them through the growing environmental sector and are committed to providing business advice that seeks to minimise the impact that business operations have on the environment.
Our key objectives are to:
- Minimise energy, waste and to prevent or reduce pollution
- Ensure that our clients, associates and partner organisations are aware of our environmental policy and encourage them to adopt the same principles
- Promote environmental information and raise awareness among students in the classroom
- Encourage and support innovation and the use of sustainable teaching resources
- Comply with all environmental legislation, regulations and applicable codes of practice
- Ensure that we continually review our environmental performance and improve it on an ongoing basis
Key steps to achievement – 2011
- Achieve a measurable reduction in office waste
- Educate our students and associates in respect to our environmental policy and objectives
- Develop an internal environmental implementation plan
- Establish baseline data in the areas of waste, energy (including transport), water and procurement, in order to set reduction targets to lessen the impact of their use
- Review our policy objectives annually
The director of Conflict Response Institute or a nominated person will review this policy annually.
